Our humanities program blends literature, history, writing, and the arts in order to explore and learn about the human experience in our diverse world. Through the use of thematic units that incorporate technology, humanities provides students with a rich opportunity to become open-minded readers, writers and thinkers.

Writing - Argumentative, Informative/Explanatory, Narrative, Revise and Edit, Access and Organize Information
Language - Grammar, Capitalization and Punctuation, Language Conventions, Context Clues, Reference Materials, Academic Vocabulary
History - Prehistory, Mesopotamia, Ancient Civilizations (Greece, Egypt, Rome, China), Middle Ages

- Free reading book should be brought to every class
